I haven't checked into insurance yet as a new owner.

Do most just carry a rider on their car insurance or do you get individual insurance on your Pod. ?

Does home owners cover it when it is parked in your yard?

Theft? Vandalism?  Storm Damage ETC.?

You might want to try again. There is no text in the post above. You can use Post Options to edit the post and add the missing text.

Edit: We have Central Mutual Insurance for our home and auto. The RPod is a rider on the auto policy. When we had our accident, Central was fantastic in service and assisting in getting it repaired.

We have AAA, and they had a package for trailers that we added to our car insurance. It wasn't very much. In fact, I've forgotten how much it is... Embarrassed

We have a stand alone policy from State Farm.  It's added to the bundle for home, car, truck and trailer.  It isn't expensive.  Different carriers package the coverage in different ways, whether as an adendum to your vehicle policy or stand alone, but it all is pretty much the same in the long run.  The main thing is don't tempt fate and do nothing.

We added our 179 to our Liberty Mutual auto policy as another vehicle. The premiums for collision and comprehensive are $314/year (insurance is a little on the expensive side in Texas); liability is covered by our TV's insurance.

Greetings:
I have American Family.  It's separate coverage and costs about $45 a month.  I did check locally on insurance and found they are all pretty close in cost.  I live in a small town in S MN. I have AAA for roadside, both the TV and TT.  They will flat tow both for up to 200 miles free.  Not cheap but when your closing in on 79, You want someone to come and take care of things.

We have USAA on vehicles, home and Pod. Also have roadside assistance with them. Bundling makes it a bit cheaper.

We have a stand alone policy through State Farm and I also carry AAA for road emergency. If you are thinking of getting AAA make sure you get the plus RV coverage.
