Hello, I have a '17 1/2 179 and I'm seriously thinking about going the Futon route. I'm in AZ for the winter and the Pod is in Idaho so I can't measure myself so as to start doing some homework. If a tape is handy and not a pain in rear could someone measure the inside width dimension of the slide? Thanks a bunch in advance.

The length of the from front to back is 75-1/2" (minus an eighth if you look at the molding strip). It fits a 75" mattress length just fine. I did a conversion (see my mods, link in signature) to remove the curved cushions and make two full length cushions and also converted the table to a two-pedestal table with a board that slides out to support the cushions at the same level as the floor of the slide-out. It makes a 3/4 width bed (75"x45") and there are sheet sets available to fit.

Thanks Steven (I had a feeling it would be you to come to my rescue). I am very familiar with your mods and have learned a ton over the last few years. Appreciated :)

It comes in handy that our RPod sits in our driveway. It makes it very convenient to run out and take a measurement.
