Planning to put a portable (suitcase) solar system in my inventory, and I am getting drowned in info...specifically, I'm trying to find a 20a charge controller with ADJUSTABLE setpoints that doesn't cost more than the rest of the system. I want Trojan T-105 (x2) batteries, and I'm having trouble finding a budget charge controller that will let me adjust the absorption, float, and equalizing charge voltages to match the manufacturer specs of 14.8, 13.2, and 15.5v. Any suggestions?

I have a GoPower 80W suitcase but it does not have adjustable controller.  I used it a week in Big Bend, and almost 3 weeks of dispersed camping at North Rim, Bryce, and southern Utah this fall and had no problems keeping my group 27 battery 12V charged.  I would recommend a 30 foot charging cord as the 15' makes it challenging at times to follow the sun.  With the GoPower I can plug it in the back at the Zamp or I can alligator clip it to the posts on the front depending of sun/trailer location.

I've been very happy with my choice,

Try Renogy.com.I use their controller and it does have adjustable set points, butI am not sure if they will meet your requirements. They have a 20 and 30 amp controller. They also offer very good technical support—a real, live person who knows what they are talking about-not just a salesman.

Which controller do you have? I looked at their specs online, they didn't appear to have adjustable points. I may have been looking at the wrong one.

We have a go power 120w suitcase, it has different strategies by battery type. When you power it up, it has settings for that. You don't set the voltages separately, you well it what type battery you have, and it runs the proper voltage etc. It is a 10A controller.
