30 AMP outlet at the house

I installed one a few months ago. 30A 120V RV outlet, 10 gauge wiring and a small amount of conduit and hardware to set it up next to the outside main breaker box. I use a 50' 30A extension cord from there and plug the 'Pod's cord into the extension with my surge protector. I have those set up with a cover to keep them dry if it rains.

With a 15A outlet, you can run the lights, refrigerator, and furnace. Or you could run lights and a small ceramic block heater if you run the refrigerator on LP. You would likely need to run the water heater on LP also.

With a 20A outlet, you could run the lights and AC if you run the other appliances on LP.

With a 30A outlet, you have the flexibility to run multiple high-demand items. Probably not all of them at once, but you can run the AC and at least one other high-draw item at the same time.

Okay. I can use my 30A outlet just like I would use a 30A outlet at a power pole. The point is that if you total up the amperage draw of the various appliances (AC, Refrigerator, Water Heater, Converter, Convection Microwave), the draw can potentially exceed 30A if they are all running simultaneously. I don't have our R-Pod here to check appliance labels, but the chart in the link lists ranges of amperage draw. Just the AC and the convection microwave running at the same time come close to maxing out the breaker's capability. Toss in the water heater and the converter trying to charge a low battery, and one would likely be over 30A.The key is not to need all items to run at the same time to keep the load below 30A.
