Still no relief on this issue. Not sure where an inline fuse might be hiding.

My best bet would be to look behind where ever your converter is mounted because that is where its drawing its DC power from.

Quite possibly behind the control switch. This were owners of Carefree power awnings have reportedly found one.

That would be a darn clever place to put an inline fuse. Clever but inconvenient as all tarnation.

The fuse *should* be as close as possible to the power source.

The Thule awning problem: I finally got in touch with the service guy at the dealership. The problem was an inline fuse located in the wiring behind the fuse panel. You have to take the fuse panel out to get at it. Replace the fuse and you should be good to go. I don't know the fuse size and service did not have it written down. Hope this helps everyone out there.

Wait What??? The fuse is behind the panel? Who designed this?

That's lame. At least on my 171 there were several open slots for wiring and fuses on the fuse panel. Why would they not use one of those?

No its beyond lame because, pardon me please, but you should be able to read directly off the fuse if you look. Because its printed or engraved on the fuse no matter what style fuse, what its amperage and voltage rating is. If you have to get a magnifying glass because the information is there right on the fuse! If someone knows otherwise please do show me because I've never seen it before. Again please forgive me if I sound harsh but the information should be on the fuse.
