I think consensus is - if you can maintain battery, leave it in Pod. If not pull it and put it where you can maintain it.

Greetings:

I live in MN so I remove the battery and put it on a smart charger for the winter.  I park outside and have a poly cover which fits the pod.  I put blocks under the tires and the cover protects the outside and the decals.  Of course I winterize the plumbing.  It's worked out well for 2 pods and 9 years.

Well, here I am south of you marwayne and enjoying AUTUMM, before winter and what have we got?  Well about 6" of snow with a high today of -4 C and a low tomorrow of -15 C.  At least it isn't winter YET, when it gets really cold.  Did someone say 'global cooling?"

Up here in Canada we have 2 seasons, winter and construction.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Always Summer, right? You folks probably have no need to winterize ever, some of us are blessed with four seasons:)
