[QUOTE=offgrid] If you get a lightning to hdmi adapter you can feed your video to the tv/monitor from your ipad. I stream netflix and hulu via my iphone that way to the tv/monitor and use the bluetooth to the stereo as you do. The hdmi adapters have a second lightning port so you can keep your idevice charged. Works great.

Chromecast, Amazon stick, or Apple TV. We use them all.
We are Android peoples so the jump to Apple TV was only by necessity for my cycling App I use, but found that I really like it a lot and now use it more than any other means.

I tried Chromecast but the state park I was staying in did not have wifi so it didn't work and in my limited amount of experience with campgrounds (half a dozen) I have found none with a strong wifi network.

You'll need a mobile data plan and a decent cell signal to make it work, cg wifi wouldn't cut it.

Thanks. Although I do enjoy a good movie or tv program,  I'd rather curl up with a good book. TV is not important enough to me to add to my cell plan.

Wow, guess we are out of the loop on this topic.  Special ordered our 177 back in January 2011 without entertainment system.  After all, we are camping and enjoying the out of doors, even in inclement weather.  Never regretted that decision.
