Just made it back from out southern loop! Made stops in NY,VA.NC. and SC. Pod was great! New 8" memory foam mattress was amazing! A/c was a blessing, furnace worked great and came in on the low 30's nights.
Averaged 14.1 on the 3,400 mile trip.
The new bike rack worked great! Solar set up worked really nice. The fishing was great! Did some great sightseeing and met a lot of nice people! Saw a lot of pods!

Glad you had a great trip! I also appreciate the reviews of the various CGs that you have posted along the way.

Yes Leo B, thanks for sharing. I particularly enjoyed your perspective on the OBX campgrounds. BTW, as an update, I stopped in at the Frisco Nat Seashore CG the other day and asked what the plans were, if any, to put in pedestals there. They are apparently leaning against it because of limitations in the current water system.  I suggested just doing electric service and forgetting about the water.

Had a blast, we did have to hunker down while we were in Myrtle Beach State Park and Michael ( as a tropical storm went by) but it wasn't to bad by the time it got there, not what the poor folks in Florida had to deal with.

Offgrid, I would agree with you on electric only at Frisco.  I can fill up my water tank ahead of time but having the AC there would be in August would be great.
Leo, glad your trip went well!  Can't wait to do those big, long trips!

Thanks Mark! It was a blast! We really love it down at OBX!! Also really love the Myrtle Beach area, now. We did really like having the A/C, a lot of days where in the upper 80's and low 90's. Coming from northern Vermont, I felt like the wicked witch " melting"!

FWIW, I'll see if I can stop in at the Seashore main office next time I'm up that way and let them know our preference for getting electric at Frisco.
