Thks mcarter they don't really have any dimensions of the mounting plate on their website so didn't know if it would work on a Pod.

They will Harry. I didn't have issues on my 2015 178.

I had to drill some additional holes in my 2015 179. But I love it.

After you get them installed , buy a couple of extra clips just in case you loose one while they are off the trailer.

I wired clip the clips to the holes in the jack.

I had bought a few items from a company via Amazon (30 ' 30a extension) and it came with a little catalog. On the front page was a selection of stabilizer jacks. They looked a bit heavier duty than the ones on my pod. I did not see a price. But they had jacks there rated for 5000 lbs, would in theory lift the whole pod.

And I wondered. What is to keep a guy from ordering a couple of those, mounting them on the front, using them to level. Then run the others down to stabilize. Keep the old ones for spares?

Wouldn't that be easier than this mucking about blocking wheels?

I'm probably wanting to defy some cosmic rule of camping here.

Interesting. I also thought about that. I use my jack to level front to back. My concern was the frame may have issues with corner lifting. I have had my Pod tweaked enough the door was hard to open and shut. SO there is some amount of frame flex. Not sure what the current rating of stabilizers is, seem to recall 2500 lbs, which is more than adequate to left a corner (rating wise). The other thing that concerned me was the securing hardware, which is basically sheet metal screws.
