I am wanting to know if 50 to a 100 miles seems like a long distance to travel for warranty service if needed. We moved to a small town and there is not much near by for RV repairs. There were many locations when we lived in Florida about five RV dealers within about 20 minutes of our home. The closest I can find for the warranty service would be about 55 miles away from where we live now. I am curious what the distance others are traveling for warranty service.  Thank you

I never have had a warranty. Any extensive service I would need are about 30 miles into Nashville or a 130 into Huntsville. Probably something in Clarksville. Personally I think for full service you're not far.

When needed, I have to travel over 80 miles.  The place I purchased our RPod won't do warranty work!

I'm on the other end of the spectrum.  We bought our R-pod from a dealer five miles from our house.  Any warranty or other work they make me an appointment within a week and do the work while I wait.

When we had it, it was 38 miles each way to our dealership. No to bad.

If you decide to come to Huntsville another option is Andy's RV Service (256-355-2090). He is right off I-65 as you go over the Tn. River. They are an independent repair facility and do not sell RV's. He is a FR authorized warranty repair center. I have bought a lot of parts from them and they have serviced my Pod under warranty on one occasion. Service was good they repaired a few things. In my case I was told a date to bring the Pod in so it doesn't sit on the lot. So far people are easy to deal with and you can talk direct with the repair tech if needed about your issues.

30 miles to an authorized warranty repair independent business which takes about 45 minutes to an hour or more to reach depending on time of day and traffic. 114 miles or about 2 hours driving time to the dealer where we purchased our RP179. Since ours is out of warranty, I will look for even closer options. I have fixed a number of things as well as made modifications myself since the cost in time and gas to tow to a repair place mean that simple repairs would cost more to get done under warranty than the cost to do it myself which is a moot point now.

We bought ours an hour away and they provide any service we need. Excellent dealer that I would buy from again in a heartbeat.

I am 20 minutes from my dealer, but, they are really slowing down on pods, and selling the crap out of the T@B 400 Nucamp teardrops. Although they are so absolutely well thought out, and considering the size, they are roomy and have storage like crazy inside. But they are a little expensive. Might end up needing to find a new pod dealer for service.
