I'd be just as concerned with debris piercing the walls. Call the insurance company and see that you're covered.

I'm very lucky to have never had to deal with a hurricane. I hope you all stay safe and keep us posted!

+1..... This one sounds like something to not take lightly, last I heard. I also sounds like it may take a few days for crews to get into the area to even begin recovery. It may be a good time to plan an extended trip to just about anywhere else!

  As far as safety your life comes first the r-pod second. Everyone agrees it is going to be a dangerous situation hope everyone is prepared and are kept safe until it's over.

No hurricane experience but do have tornado and high wind experience with a Pod. Pod proved stable in winds over 70 MPH. I did lower the stabilizers and pull the ebrake cable, so brake was locked. I also in one situation hooked Pod to TV, figured it would take some effort to move both. Something to think about is high water and falling debris, not just wind. Sure there is a point no matter the preparation the worst can happen. Weather can afford some real challenges.

   Sorry for all that the Carolina's have been through and now it looks like they are going to be having more rain from another tropical system. Hope the rivers have gone down before this next system arrives and there won't be more severe flooding.
