Has anyone have had the black tank flush connection at the tank leak? Is it just 3 screws that connect the plat to the tank? What type of silicone do you use to re-seal the plat? I was thinking of adding 3 more screws to make a tighter fit? Also adding more hose to make it less rigid.

I replaced my black tank aerator, because previous owner poked a hole in it, thinking it was clogged. Real culprit was the check valve was installed backwards. When I replaced the aerator in tank I moved the black tank flush to left side near black tank drain, no more moving flush hose around. When installing new aerator I used a commonly available exterior silicon available at most box stores.

I just had this issue in august. It was leaking from the flange connected to the tank, that then the hose connects to that. I actually had the dealer fix it, as i don't really know what to use, and the wife and I agree we don't want to screw around with leaky black water issues. We want it fixed right, and guaranteed. It wasn't cheap, bout 500 bucks, but they own it if it leaks again. Just to be clear, it was leaking from the flange itself, not the hose.
BTW, I never even use the tank flush system.
