If you look in my mods, you will see a simple jacking block I made from two pieces wood screwed together and cut to allow the axle tube to sit in a notch along with the wires that run along the axle. The actual jacking points then become the brackets on the front and back side of the axle tube. This has worked very well for me. I use a small floor jack with this block. Since my driveway is concrete, it supports the wheels of the jack very well. I would probably need to use a board if I were to need to use it on soft ground though.

Thank you gentlemen. About as I suspected. No one wants to be liable for someone else's mistake. An axle that is supposed to take the weight of half of the trailer should in theory be capable of taking that same load from a jack. The problem is not all those running a jack know what they are doing. I leveled my pod with a floor jack, it was easier than starting the TV, hooking back up, and wiggling back and forth to gain an inch on one side. Stabilizers up a few cranks, slide my floor jack under the axle risers. Used a 2x4 between jack and steel. Lifted it an inch, blocked it, set it down again. Master of levitation I am not, and there did not appear to be a lift point on the roof for a sky hook. So I will do it the way I have been when needed. Thank you all.

I can understand that the axle might not be able to withstand the weight of the trailer on a single pressure point. Perhaps what you need to do is have a flat plate that spreads the load on the frame enough to simulate the PSI pressure of the axle attachment?

Because the axle manufacturer says not to jack on the axle.. AND.. the frame manufacturer says not to jack on the frame.
Which leaves levitation, most owners have not mastered it yet. |

Ghosthawk,
The only answer I can provide, is don't jack on the axle tube. On my pod the axle attachment point and risers is the same point. |

Ok, now I am curious, is there a reason not to use the axle where it attaches to the frame?

+1 to GlueGuy on pics, but how difficult is it to jack at the bottom of the risers. I never had an issue of where to jack, I just don't use the axle, which is the always been the advice.

A link to an image will not work unless the link includes the file type in the link (E.G. .jpg, .png, .gif, and so on). Some sites (like google or dropbox) provide a link that does not include the file type. You kind of have to work around that.

Here is a reasonable method for jacking up your Pod. This should alleviate any axle/frame lifting point issues.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/110_avwLQWCf-NeanP5crfVpEWYYZkHeM/view?usp=sharing I tried the "insert image" feature of this forum but to no avail. They want to hook you into some goofy online posting sham and that is ill advised now days.
