If they offered it with the Ecoboost V6 I would be pre ordering one! My understanding is that it will not be an option, the V6 won't fit in the engine bay. A diesel engine may someday be available though.

I pulled with a 2L Ecoboost Escape for a while. The Ecoboost engines have a lot of torque for the size. The cost is running premium to get that power. Take that into consideration as you look. An Ecoboost V6 would be better.

I was just looking at the new Ranger of Ford's website, I am really liking what I am seeing but the only engine is a 2.3 Ecoboost with a 10 speed. Not much out there yet for specs, any thoughts on how this little 4 banger would pull a pod?
