Front windows in general are normally a big cause of leaks. Most class C's USED to have one, Not so much now. It's almost guaranteed it will leak eventually. Add to that the addition of the large curve of the front, I fear you might as well just cut a hole in it. You'll probably get the same results.

End of the day, best to just buy what you want. Installing a front window on a Pod has numerous drawbacks.

Did you ever find a way to put a window in the front of your 182G?

Due to the curve the cost was prohibitive. I found a couple that were close, maybe even close enough. No way was I going to pay the premium for custom.
If you do decide to go this route, buy a cover for it as well. All the better units out there have a shield of some sort for road travel. Think dirt road and what you TV kicks up.

As far as leaks go.. All seams leak eventually if not maintained.

So we traded in our 179 for a 195 because the wife and I wanted the bed orientation.  Our model has a front window.  I worry about rocks, etc. hitting it while going down the road and would seriously consider a cover for traveling. Does anyone know of a such an item?

On the Facebook Rpod group, I saw where one couple made one out of a sleeping or yoga mat covered it with color matched fabric (to Rpod color) used grommets and those fasteners that go through grommet then turn to latch. It looked pretty good and could certainly deflect rocks etc.

Front window on our, 2nd trip, 195 blew out last week. Not fun. It's a poor design and a cover needs to be addressed.

Shortly after getting my 2015 178, I found a hole in front drivers side, that had pierced outside but not inside. I guessed by road debris. I patched and it is ok. Last thing I need is a front window on a tow behind. Always figured I could go outside if I want to see outside. Maybe I'm wrong.
