I was wondering about how water works.  I have a 2015 178. When hooked up to "City" water does that mix with the 30 gallon storage water tank (non-City water)? Are they completely separate?

They are 2 different systems. The fresh water tank requires you turn on the water pump to pump water through system. City water flows from water pressure in water lines, so water pump should be off. Make sure you use a water pressure regulator when hooked to city water, of risk damaging your plumbing. You can buy one at walmart

So the two water systems remain separate and the water doesn't mix?

Sort of.. The two feeds don't mix, but within the camper, they become one, so to speak

. The pump feeds water to the system from the holding tank, if filled, and pump is on. City water connection feeds water to the system from the city water hook up. One way valves keep them separate. Occasionally the one way valves may stick. Usually it's the one at the pump, which will cause the city water to fill the FW holding tank, and overflow it out the fill tube. If you or friend experience this, disconnect from city water, turn on the pump, open a faucet and cycle the pump a few times. 99.999% of the time, this will seat the valve correctly.

This diagram is great. Wish they had it posted behind pantry door or some other handy place. The dealer walk through is so overwhelming for newbies we miss half of the spiel. Burnt out my electric water heater already as didnt turn pump on first. Better yet, FR should make a handy quick set up guide for the rPod. Reading 27 owners manuals on vacation is not my idea of fun.
