I was having trouble making the bed in my 179. So I got a queen fitted sheet for the bottom.
For the flat top sheet, I got a king fitted, cut the corners from the top end, sewed a hem in the  shorted  sheet, hooked the two fitted corners at the foot. , pulled the rest of the sheet up.
For the bedspread, I plan to get one and do the same treatment as the flat king sheet

My wife sewed a queen flat sheet onto a queen fitted sheet at the foot, thinking it would ease bed making. With our 10" memory foam mattress, it really didn't help much.

My wife converted the flat sheet to a fitted sheet at the foot end. It helps some.
