We had a 171 Rpod and found the bathroom difficult to get in and out of, too close to kitchen.  We traded it in a year later for a 180 and could not have been happier.  We use the larger bathroom for storage, locking the cat in, and for it's intended purposes.  With the bathroom at the back it does not hamper the kitchen area.

It is dark, so we installed motion light and plan on a small window sometime in the near future.  The slide out and large bathroom is the way to go in our opinion.  We are retired and so it is only the two of us, plus pets.

And that is why R-Pods come in multiple floor plans. Each of us decides what is best for him-/herself. That way, we can be happy with knowing we have what suits us, not stuck with someone else's idea of what we should have. Big smile

Couldn't have said it better myself! Smile

My wife's favorite room in the house is the bathroom, so I knew that the best way to get her hooked on an rPod was to show her the model with the big dry bath FIRST!!! That made the deal.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I love the choice of layouts. After much deliberation, I decided to go with the wet bath. I'm picking up my new 2018 178 model on Saturday!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll love it! Lots of good information on this forum about how to make the most of the space. This is our first year out with our 179 and it's made our camping trips so much more enjoyable!
