I have a question on the Rpod stabilizing jacks. I know you're not supposed to level the Rpod with these but the last time I used the Rpod I could feel it rock back and forth when we walked up in to it. Should I crank the jacks down a little more to minimize that? Or is that just something I'll have to live with?

I have not been able to get mine totally stable with the jacks alone. I did buy a couple of stabilizers when I found them on sale that look something like this: __________ / \ / \ -- -- It is hinged at the top and the legs are adjustable for length. A ratcheting strap goes between the feet and is used to tighten it. I bought two, but one of them at the front placed parallel with the trailer's front is sufficient to remove almost all the movement in the bed. A second one at the back would finish the job for the kitchen, but that is not needed as much.

Thanks Stephen. Any chance you have a picture or details of the stabilizers?

Look on Camping World's web site for Universal RV Stabilizer.

One thing that I've found is to go back around and retighten the jacks once everything has settled. In my experience once I set up everything than walk in and out a few times, move things around, the pod shifts a bit and there's often a bit of a gap between the ground and the jacks (sometimes just a 1/4" or so, but that's enough to be noticeable). I do this every day or two, and often need just a bit more tightening up in more or more of the corners. This makes a big difference for me. The stabilizers look interesting but I've already got enough gear stuffed into the storage area and back of my truck!

Once I have Pod leveled on tongue jack and crank down stabilizers with a light load, no issue with stable. If so, I give the stabilizers a couple more cranks. Maybe have to adjust with time and weather. I have no need for extra stuff.

Agree with Mike. We have not had issues with rocking back and forth as you mentioned, unless the stabilizers were not down all the way. As mentioned above, you may have to go and check them a 2nd time and give them an extra crank or two if still not firmly planted on the soil. We agree, no need for extra stuff.

My experience is that even with the stabilizer jacks firmly planted, there is still a bit of a wiggle with someone walking around inside. This is especially noticeable at night when one of us has to make that nighttime necessary trip. The additional stabilizer makes the bed area rock solid. Is it needed? Probably not. Is it nice to have? Yes.
