Under the cabin, just as the wiring first coming to from the battery, there is this connection.
I'm not thinking fuse, maybe a surge protect? Really would like to know.. |

I don't think I've seen that particular one, but there are an extra couple of wires that come off the battery and go to the solar panel connector.

Consensus on my other forum believes it's a auto resetting fuse. I looked them up and sure enough, very similar. Just another place to check when power goes down... Great!
At least I now know they're there..

My guess is a distribution block. Good place to connect different loads.

I was wondering what that was too Olddawgsrule. If it is an auto-resetting fuse, any idea what the rating of the fuses are? Which website did you find something similar on?

As far as I know, there is no such thing as an auto-resetting fuse. An auto-resetting circuit breaker maybe, but not a fuse (stands for fusible link) which the nature of which is to melt apart if the load is too great or there is a short. The copper strip looks more like it is simply bridging two terminal blocks. |

The picture in question does not resemble any of the "resettable fuses/breakers" pictured in the Wikipedia or Google search articles. I still say it is most likely a bridge between two blocks.
