My AC is not cooling well. This is my first year with it,bought a 2016 182G used in December. I noticed the past weekend and the trip before that even when it’s only 80 degrees outside I’m getting tepid air from the unit.
Any tips for trouble shooting?

Tracydr,

Advise you start a new post. Tagging on an existing post about filters could lose you attention to your problem, which has nothing to do with filters.

Some questions:
1. What do you have your thermostat set at? The first press is for fan control. It is low, high, or auto. This is independent of the cooling. Second is cooling. When that light is lit, what do you have the thermostat set at? Is the thermostat in Fahrenheit or Celsius? If it is in Celsius, press and hold the up and down buttons and it will switch. Third, what temperature setting do you have it set to? The third option is heat. F and C and temperature are done the same way. If the fan is set to auto, it will cycle with the compressor and switch from low to high automatically. If set to low, it will run constantly on low with the compressor cycling as needed. The same with high.

I used a thermometer stuck in one of the vents on mine. The temperature of the output air was right around 39F.

NB: The unit will seem much quieter if the large sliding vent directly below the fan is shut and the front and back vents plus the two side vents are used for the output air.

I’ll check the temperature and all the settings tomorrow. Just saw these questions and it’s bedtime.

Also, check the filters. Ours got so clogged at one point that we had very little airflow, and the A/C wasn't cooling well as a result. Cleaning them did the trick.
