Hi all - looking to add a small shelf or two to the wet bath in our 179; maybe one on either side of the sink. Thinking small (maybe 3" wide by 8-9"long), just big enough to put shaving soap, toothpaste, etc while using the sink. Was thinking about fabricating something from small pieces of 1/2" corian or similar material but cant find anything available like that.

Anyone find a good solution for small bath shelves?

You may want to go to a plastic supply store.  (We purchased plexiglass from TAP Plastics [a west coast store] and used it to make the base for our "sink.")  You can get clear, colored, or opaque plastics that are easy to cut and glue together to form  your shelf.  We went to a dollar store and got a cup/tooth brush holder and a soap holder that I attached with 3M 2 sided sticky tape.  Together, the two hold everything you describe.  Total cost $2.

That shelf is amazing! Do you make or buy the tambour door?

Yes I make my own tambour, the cabinet is recessed by about 3" into the wall.

try hdpe (plastic cutting boards)  cheap and lasts forever, cuts with normal saw blades and very strong and water is never a problem.

Marwayne. That cabinet looks great, but what do you do about water protection?
