    Posted: 21 Apr 2018 at 12:23pm
We finally have warm enough weather that I've been out going through our new RP189 and I'm trying to lock the outside storage bins.  We received 2 sets of keys when we picked up our Rpod, 1 set for the main door and 1 set that fit the outside shower door lock.  The storage door locks were badly in need of lock lubricant which I did today but neither key will lock them.  The main door key slides in but doesn't turn and I didn't want to force it and break the key. The key for the outside shower door lock did not fit. My question for all of you is; did you get a different set of keys for the storage door locks?  Thanks.

We never had a problem with the storage compartment lock, but the shower door lock was always a bit stubborn. Based on a recommendation from this list, we went here to get replacement cam locks for both the storage compartment and the shower door. The cam for the shower door needs a bit of tweeking, but now we use one key for all the doors.

The storage locks are all adjustable, mine were loose and I had to tighten to secure the door and prevent leaks. Note the lock nut on inside of each lock, adjust as necessary.

pretty much ALL outdoor storage compartment locks, across all 9 million RV's out there are a "751" ALL of them delivered with R-Pods are. So.. in closing.. use the key marked.. 751.

I have 11 out door hatch looks, they are all keyed alike however these looks have 2574 combinations. For instance, they use all the letters of the alphabet plus add a number from 1 to 99.

I don't have any keys marked 751. I sent an email to the folks at Couch's.
