On a Monday evening in January, 2017 around 8:00 p.m. we went through Atlanta. We encountered very low (relatively speaking) traffic. Other times were much worse. We cruised right on through unlike other times when we crawled through.

I have driven through many big cities and on my list Atlanta has been the worst. But so far between those hours I have driven right through no problem, only wish Georgia had more rest areas. If I could afford it I would build more rest areas for Georgia, there should be a law that rest areas need to built on interstates at least every 50 miles. Unhappy

However, the good thing about the 'Pod is that you just need a place to pull off (any exit that will allow access back on is good) and you have your own facilities with you. I agree that the stretch of 95 does seem rather long with not so many places to even pull off though.

Nothing like Hot-lanta traffic, the department of my former company is located in downtown and I'd rather been tortured then go there but thank goodness I don't have to anymore since I retired. Atlanta is like any big city be it Washington DC or Los Angeles that the times to travel through them is off rush hours. Best of all is you can travel through them in late evening.
