I recently visited friends who live in their big RV in the Cotillion Gardens RV Park in Felton, Santa Cruz County, California. The park accommodates both long-term and non-resident campers. I saw an RPod when I drove in, and our friends say they see RPods often in the park. While I have never camped there I can recommend it based on our friends' experience as well as my own observation. It's snug but the location makes it worth it. It's immediately adjacent to the very popular Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (great hiking and giant redwoods within short walk). It's very near services including groceries, hardware and fuel, and other great areas including the Monterey Bay and Pacific Ocean. Also about or less than 2 hours to San Francisco (without towing, you don't want to haul your RPod around the streets of San Francisco
). The website is http://www.cotilliongardens.com/ If you go, plan to come at it from the north (the only entrance/exit is on Hwy 9). I was coming from the coast so from the south on Hwy 9 and had to jockey to make the turn into the park, just with my truck. Our friends confirmed that as well. It's easy to plan your route to come at it from the north even if you coming from the coast (send me PM if you want more detail on that). Hope this info is useful/helpful to someone, California coastal camping is at a premium and this is one of those ideally-located parks.
