Has anyone installed window awnings on their Pod?  When RVing, I like to have the windows open
when it is raining.  My Pod's windows are so close on the outer ends to the curved roof that
I have not been able to find any 'roll-up' window awnings that don't extend out beyond the roof
line.  This makes it impossible to anchor the awning to the side wall above the windows.

I did install a couple of 'Window/Maxx' louvered window vents...but there is not much cross-venting
compared to an open window.

If you have installed awnings, what brand awnings do you get to fit?

I "THINK" Carefree Awnings can make them any size you want.  Not sure though.

I have Dometic-AE awnings on my RV and really like them, but they are fastened on the ends above the windows with a straight aluminum bracket. On my R-Pod, the window's outer edge  curves down parallel and close to the front and rear roof line.  If you were to take a carpenter's square and line it up vertically with  the outer edge of the window, you will find that the roof line actually curves down lower than the top of the window.  So if I try to install a horizontal awning fitting above my window, the outer edge sticks out into the air beyond the roof.
I have an R-Dome...but I don't feel comfortable having it up if there is a storm coming. (see some of the threads about R-Domes and high storm winds!)
