Need suggestions. With the small sink in the 179 it can difficult at times to wash dishes. Especially grill utensils. Has anybody made the sink larger? Replaced it with a double? I know there probably be cabinet & counter top modifications. Other washing devices?

We use a plastic pan (dollar store) that fits down into the sink.  If the items are too large take it outside.

Agree. Use LOTS of paper towels to get up most of the crud, first. We use the sink for washing and another basin for rinsing with HOT water (and then surreptitiously dump it ouside).

Check out my mods. I put in a larger sink and a better faucet. Just measure to ensure the sink you use will fit the space available. My wife and I are happy with it.

I use the wipes called wet ones. I keep them on the picnic table, and near the grill. I wipe everything with the wet ones as soon as i am done using it. It takes off grease with ease. I also have a 5 gallon bottle that i fill with water and a little dish soap. I use that as a second cleaning rinse. My wife will either wipe dry, or give a last rinse in the pod. I really try to limit grey water.

I have a dishpan and use the hot water from the outside shower.

That was kind of what I was thinking but park in Arkansas do not take kindly to gray water disposed on the ground. We do use a lot of payer plates & styrofoam bowls to cut down the dishes but it is mainly the big stuff. We have started using cast iron cut down washing pans and skillets. We wipe them clean.

Thanks everybody.

Rawest,

I don't dump on ground. Too easy to take to the dump site or the fish cleaner:) I always have a 5 gal bucket with lid to assist too.
