Welcome to the group, we have a 2016 Venza and a 179 waiting p/u in Ottawa.
Read your owners manual carefully, most vehicles you must subtract 2 occupants, luggage, trailer hitch equipment from the towing capacity.  See page 285 for exact wording, here is the important quote “TWR is calculated assuming base vehicle with one driver, one front passenger, towing package (if available), hitch and hitch systems (if required).”  (TWR is Trailer Weight Rating)
Hope you enjoy, we are looking forward to it, where did you buy in K/W?

Hi all:
Got our 2018 176 home yesterday after trading our class A motor home.
When we attempted to connect electricity found that our existing adaptor and the one in the “welcome kit” are configured with different pins. The pod has a twist lock connector with curved pins and a different ground pin to our “ old” adaptors.
I guess our first mod will be to relocate the spare wheel in order to use that socket for bike rack- any tips welcome.

Order the 176 from Can Am rv just outside of London, they have been really good so far and had lots of knowledge about everything so far. Only problem is I have to wait til June to get my R-Pod

Amazing Canam are still in London, we left there in 1976 and they had a very high reputation then.  Are they still on the road north of the old Ford plant at Tolbotville, hwy 4 if I remember right.
