We really lucked out this weekend, mid 70s on Saturday and a high of 78 on Sunday.
We spent Saturday at Bensten State Park part of the World Birding Center. It appears that this was at one time a drive
though part and now it’s only bike and foot traffic. The paths are well maintained, and take a tram or rent a bike.
It’s really still winter but we saw plenty of birds. This is a must come back to park, maybe spring.

Sunday we went to Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. They have a very nice tram ride, and the bike trail
is 6.8 miles one way only (too far for us), but they have a lot of people biking, beautiful area. Neither of
these locations has camping, but there are lots of RV camp grounds and RV resorts in the area.

We stayed at Southern Comfort Resort near some friends.

Had a Real PODventure.
