BISCUITS AND SAUSAGE GRAVY
8 buttermilk biscuits
3/4 pound of sausage (fatty sausage works best for this)
4 cups of milk
4-8 tablespoons flour
Prepare biscuits as instructed on package. Brown sausage in skillet. As soon as sausage is completely brown, turn to medium heat. Add flour by the tablespoon, stirring constantly. Let the flour turn BROWN before adding another tablespoon (if you don't, your gravy will taste like flour). After you have added enough flour to make the gravy as thick as you like, add milk and stir with whisk.

Serve over biscuits.

My wife calls it Heart Attack on a plate!  Is very good (tasty) but not good for your health.

Hmm, I think I'd probably die if I ate biscuits and gravy.  Not that I don't like them but these days we are eating "light."   Unhappy

I love bisquits and gravy...Its been years since I had them.  I would think it would be ok to have them every once in a while...especially while camping!

There's going to be so many tempting treats at the ERU that I will have to pick ONE.  Can that be done???

I am getting in line for the BACON explosion....I did find the calories online....I think you would need an hour of strenuous exercide to burn off one small slice...

I'm hoping there are hiking trails!
