We are picking up our new 2018 r-pod 179 on Friday. First rv and my wife and I are getting excited. What are the forums for first timers? Good to be among the poders.

Great to have you aboard! You are at a great place here to arrive and ask questions and have many experienced podders give advice and answers. On the Facebook side you will see a lot more activity and posts so check that out as well.

We also have a fairly new 179 that we haven’t used yet. But we had 6ears of great fun and service with our 173 model pod. I am sure you will grow to love the pod, the pod world and this forum.

Welcome and congratulations! My wife and I picked up our 2016 R-Pod in December, 2015 and have had several extended trips plus some local camping trips. The 179 really is a great design. I hope you have many great adventures and make many great memories in your travels with your 179.

My favorite forum is this one, the advance search is a great source of info along with any and all questions. The other forums don't match participation or activity of this one. I'm not a Facebook user, but have heard great comments. You Tube also has a lot of video info. Lot of folks deal with Amazon and personally I like etrailer.com for towing stuff.
