Just returned from longest trip yet; Chicago to Long Beach Ca, to Big Sur, back to Chicago. 5380 miles--all systems functioning including marriage and 2 dogs.

Warmer returning to Chicago yesterday than we were in Tucson on Tuesday! Oh, well...

Sounds like a great trip.  We are currently planning our biggest yet summer trip.  Mokena to Banff and back again.  What route did you take?

Basically, I40, dropped down to I10 in New Mexico going out. Big Sur to Barstow for I40 coming back. However, hoping to stay warm and put off re-winterizing, we went to I10 again. In New Mexico we winterized and took US 54 to Missouri where we joined I44 to I55 back home.

US54 is a nice road we took last year before we got the Pod. It's an truck route from Illinois to El Paso. Joins I40 at Tucumcari, NM. 55 to 65 speed limit and not too many towns.
