Topic: Sewer Hose??? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 at 12:07pm |
Our dealer provided a starter kit that included the sewer hose, water hose, power connector adapter, some bio-friendly tablets for the black water tank, and (I think) a package of RV TP.
The sewer hose is kind of short, but we're still using it. The water hose leaked at the fitting the 2nd time we used it; we replaced it with a better quality one.

The only "loose" items supplied by FR is the propane tank and the shore power AC connector. Most dealers will throw in a battery and fill the propane tank. Some dealers will provide a welcome package that includes sewer connection. However these are all pretty cheap and its better to just go on Amazon and buy better quality items that will hold up. For the sewer line you definitely will want a longer tube (2 10 foot are perfect but only one will fit in the outside storage) and a clear elbow to be able to know when the tanks are clean. Since the tanks are hard to clean I would recommend a clear elbow that has a backflow water attachment.

+1. The second time I used the complimentary hose, it sprung a leak. Our Rhino hose has been going strong for over a year of camping on average once a month.

When we got our 177 six plus years ago we also were given a "complimentary starter kit" which included a basic sewer hose. After a couple years we upgraded to a Rhino Hose and have used it a fair amount in the past 4 plus years, works great.

Just bought an r-pod 180 and it did not come with a hose, I had to purchase one separate.

We're like jato. Our dealer included a complementary "start kit". It had a 10' hose, and a short carrier that goes under the batteries up front. We've since added a rhino hose and longer carrier that goes back behind the gray water tank.
