John: Will you be working on it this Saturday? If so, I'd like to come be and take a look. I'll be down at Pismo surfing on Saturday. Rick

Nope, sorry to say my RP doesn't have a vent in the bath. Though the vent is only right outside the bathroom door and there is a gap of a couple inches on the top of the bathroom door which helps vent out moisture from the bath. What I'd really like is what some of the 2018 models have which is a skylight in the bath which helps not only with lighting during the day but makes a small space, the bathroom, seem bigger.

But I'm installing this 24" x 8" tilt out window into the rear wall of the pod, (180 dry bath) this weekend. Since there is no fan or window in the bathroom this will give us some light and venting. I'll let you know how it goes:) (a little nervous)..... rgds John

I hope your project goes well, which I'm sure it will. Please, do all of us a favor (especial fellow 180 owners) a write up of your mod with photos! My only question for now is what do you plan to use to cut the hole?

mcarter,
I'm way past that, the rear curved back of the pod has horizontal wood pieces centered at 9" I custom made the window at 8" tall by getting a 24" wide by 30" tall window and cutting down the frame to 24" wide by 8" tall and getting a new tempered smoked piece to fit the new window size. Got the window on eBay. The height is made so it will still work with the curve. When I pulled the interior wall skin loose there was no insulation in that Bay! But the one above and below it was insulated. The window will be 5' off the floor.

Many people have installed a door window. Not a big deal. The old measure twice cut once adage is very true here..

GoGirlKY,
Check out Vintage Technologies on the Internet, they sell same window as Amazon, much cheaper. Good folks to deal with. That is where I got my door window.

Voisj,
Seeing as how you are not talking about the door, where many of us have put a window. I recommend you get a stud checker and make sure you are not cutting a support. I know mine does not have a frame persay, it has strategically placed supports that bolster the walls.
Also for anybody that cares - Vintage Technologies out of MI has some of the best prives and selection of RV windows.
