Welcome Old Surfer,
Yes, I hope the surf is good for you at our roundup this summer!
For others listening in on this topic, please know there are still a few spaces available at the RV park. Now would be a good time to sign-up!

Hello Podders,
We now have 35 R-Pods and 5 other "friends" signed up for a total of 40 RV sites and 76 attendees. OR and WA, followed by CA are where most of the attendees live when they are not out in their R-Pods. We also have attendees coming from both IL and NM as well.
There are still spaces available (see the first posting in this category for details) but I suggest you make your reservation soon if you would still like to attend. At some point I will release back to the RV park any sites that are not reserved.
We will have a number of social and fun activities. This includes two evening dinner events, a couple optional informational sessions and several musicians who want to play songs and sing into the night! (I will also create my fifth R-Pod song for one of the evening events). There will also be lots of time to do things on your own and this part of the country is blessed with beautiful beaches, small coastal towns and other interesting places to visit within an hour's drive of the campground.
So, please sign up SOON if you wish to join us!

We will call this week and get a spot of there are any available. We have a new-to-us 2014 177.
We took it on a 2 week trip in Dec from NW WA down to Pismo Beach, CA. We only saw one other RPod the entire trip! On the 12th day of the trip we spotted one in Pacific City, Oregon.
It will be great to meet more podders.

Well this gives me almost 5 months to learn to cook (or snazz up) something besides what my loyal relatives and friends eat that I make. The good news is that I love cast iron and will have ours with us.

Looking forward to the weekend in Cannon Beach. We are
bringing our kayaks to go for a trip on the Nehalem river south of Cannon
beach. The tides are good for a mid-morning start on the incoming
tide. The Nehalem is a slow running river meandering through the
forest. Always a lot of bird life and other forest creatures.

Sounds great! We're bringing our kayaks too (and my binoculars, which I never leave home without.)

We have the Hobie Mirage Outback kayaks and will be bring them too. My wife and I love kayaking. Maybe we could go together? After I surf in the morning!
