Just got a Honda 2000 generator and used it for the first time this past week. Worked fine except I noticed that the wall outlet plugs in my 179 do not allow me to charge my iPhone/iPad when in Eco mode. Have any of you experienced this? They do charge when in non-Eco mode. Thx!!!

I installed 12V outlets and USB outlets next to them. I use them for charging phones and one of the 12V outlets for my CPAP machine. I could also use a 12V outlet with an automobile adapter for charging the phones. To me it makes more sense than having to run a generator to charge a phone.
