I'm wondering what others do when changing it tires on your Rpod.
I only live about 5 miles from my tire shop, and am deliberating whether to just take my wheels off the pod and bring them there for replacement or hook up the pod and pull it down to the tire shop.

I think it's Discount Tire that won't let you bring in a trailer.  You have to take off the wheels.  Just sayin', you might do well to check with the tire place before you assume they'll even let you bring the Pod in.  Plus, I don't know how much I'd trust them to care how they jack it up.

I just replaced my tires. I jacked it up and took the tires in and had them put on that way I have control of the pod on my driveway. They go them done in less then 30 minutes.

+1 to removing tires and taking them to tire shop. I used the time to do maintenance on the wheel/hub area, and I controlled jacking the trailer. Make sure they balance your new tires.

If you take the tires/rims into the tire shop for a tire change, then take them home and put them on yourself, you can be sure the lug nuts are properly torqued.  If you leave it to the tire shop, they may not care or know to check for the proper tightness for a trailer.  Of course you can always check the torque when you bring the trailer home, but it's easy to forget or get distracted and not do it.

Not to mention what a PITA it would be to get a trailer in/out of most tire places.

I actually asked the place near me what to do, they said bring in the camper. This place is really tight, i hate going with my car. I took a few xanax and hooked up the camper. I was in and out in 40 minutes.
