Hi all,
New pod owner this July - with my 2017 #177, I have taken my pee pod on 4 camping trips, I tried to try everything out. One glitch was my DVD player not working - my brother unscrewed it from the wall and the video component (yellow one) was completely broken off in the socket- so will be addressing that.  I also purchased one of the visors for miss peepod and it seems to be working out good so far, the new units come in with the awnings but for some reason mine wasn't ordered in that way.

I live on the west coast, not too far from the water so things get very damp during the winter.  I have an opportunity to have it in a covered storage area for the winter.  I pulled everything out I needed to today and will be getting it winterized in the next few weeks.

I am new to the grey and blank tank so my question is - should I put anything in the tank for odour over the winter or does it sit dry.  I re- rinsed out my gray water tank and yuck - more tidbits and some sludge came out, when I empty my gray tank Camping - i didn't run water in the tank after so maybe that's the problem.
I do wipe the dishes off into the garbage to avoid food in my tank, but guess some gets stuck.  Do most people put little tubs in their sink and dump outside (like tent camping)?

Anyway I am loving my peepod and look forward to next season - I even have some sites prebooked😀

I have a question. How are you flushing the gray water tank? Running water down the shower and sink with a hose?

I hooked up my outside hose to the water supply and just ran the tap in the sink with the grey lever closed then I'd open it - I did that quite a few times until it was nice and clean.  I should probably do that at the campsite, not just open the grey tank and drain.

It's a sewage tank.. once used.. it's never going to be "clean" again. I give each tank an extra rinse now and then, otherwise don't worry about it. When we winterize, I add a bit of pink stuff to each tank after the final draining, that's all we leave in there.
