Hope this has not already been asked.

Debating the purchase of extended warranty.

The lady that closed our sale told us we had a year to decided if we wanted their expensive 4 year extended warranty.

We are also eligible to purchase the FR 1 year extended warranty for 150.00.

I am wondering if we purchase the FR warranty will we still be able to purchase the dealer warranty in the future before the dead line.  I know there will be a year overlap but I'm thinking I may have a better idea of what will be needed at the end of a year.

Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

thanks!
Jack

I don't much believe in extended warranties.. But the second year for $150 I would do.

However, that program is rapidly coming to an end. I am surprised you can get it.

The truth is, most anything important will break pretty soon if it's going to.. after that, most of the stuff that might go wrong, the warranty probably doesn't/won't cover anyways.

I found the FR extended warranty ($150) one of the few real deals in RVing. I got a new converter and a new axle with 2 new tires in my second year for nothing.

Hello - I believe that FR discontinued the second year warranty for units bought after June. You should call FR to confirm and lock in if you can.

I agree with Furpod, I did the same thing. The factory warranty is well worth the money even though I have had no problems.
