Let's start a new thread. Where are you camping to view the Great American Eclipse? I am behind a warehouse in Idaho Falls, ID. I work for a company in Salt Lake City that has a satellite office here. Free, so the price was right. Getting excited for tomorrow's big event.

Northern Michigan, cloudy and rainy most of the day, will miss it regardless. As a kid growing up in Detroit I remember seeing one that was really impressive, mid-day, it got real dark, temps plummeted and here I was with my brothers looking at a large pail of water filled with water as the eclipse commenced, pretty exciting for a young kid to view.

We are in Goodlettsville, TN, just north of Nashville. Came in on Saturday and did the Nashville tourist thing and now we're all set up in full sun for a beautiful day at the Grand Ole RV Resort. The place is packed with the overflow lot almost full as well. This is a wonderful campground with live music at night and the owners are really nice people. We have the solar telescope set up to take pictures of each stage of the eclipse. Y'all be safe and have fun!
