Northern Michigan, cloudy and rainy most of the day, will miss it regardless.  As a kid growing up in Detroit I remember seeing one that was really impressive, mid-day, it got real dark, temps plummeted and here I was with my brothers looking at a large pail of water filled with water as the eclipse commenced, pretty exciting for a young kid to view.

Let's start a new thread.  Where are you camping to view the Great American Eclipse?  I am behind a warehouse in Idaho Falls, ID.  I work for a company in Salt Lake City that has a satellite office here.  Free, so the price was right.  Getting excited for tomorrow's big event.
