I don't understand.  Why would anyone have their solar panels charging their battery at the same time they are plugged into 120v?  The batteries are being charged from the converter already.

OK Thanks, kymooses. I went to ForestRiver forums and found a thread that confirmed this, too. Getting smarter every day!

So I am charging the battery with my solar panels and am also plugged in to 110. I made sure the thermostat was set to off, but I can hear a fan running. Sure enough, just under the fuse box right inside the door, there is a fan on. Is this the converter fan that comes on when charging? I have a 2017 model 178. Thanks
