Welcome, fellow 179'er! We love ours and the way we've modded the inside (shelf over the bed, short futon), our cats love it too. We're about to embark on the longest trip we've taken with the cats.

Congratulations and welcome! We have enjoyed our adventures with our 179 which we bought in December, 2015. I hope you will enjoy yours as much as you have your adventures and make many good memories.

I have made a number of mods to ours, some of which are now standard features.  You can see them using the link in my signature.

That is where we were in the fall of 2010.  And then it happened.  As we were camping in Fort Wilkens State Park, in Copper Harbor Michigan we saw it  . . . . . . our first R - Pod.  Don't even remember what model it was but was impressed that a Subaru Outback was pulling it.  Ordered ours in January 2011, took delivery in March of 2011 and have been enjoying it ever since.  Am sure you will enjoy yours, a great unit!

We love our new 179. A lot of sweet features. I am in the process of making minor mods to meet our needs.

Any questions just throw it out there and somebody on the forum will have an answer. Happy buying.
