In our 179, the TV and radio work fine but the DVD shows movies only in black-and-white. We cannot find information in the Jensen manual about how to troubleshoot this problem. Has anyone else had this issue? The unit is less than a year old and has been used only a few times.

Hi, when we had our "walk through" at the dealer, we had this same problem, black and white TV.  The guy really did not know much about RPods, had few on lot, but after "playing" with the contrast and colour controls in the set up menu, got the colour to work. 

Try adjusting, starting with everything set to the middle and go from there.  Hopefully that is all it is.

Hi HappyWife,

Exact same thing happened to us last month on our second time out.

Easy to fix, go to the TV menu,and select RESET. You will be back to color!

This also happened to us.  I do not have the POD with me so I cannot give you specifics but we had to change the input.  It was not composite it was something else but I cannot remember what it was.  Just try switching inputs and you will get the right one in color.
