First trip in our new 179 last weekend.  The door was incredibly hard to open - sometimes I had to get both thumbs under the latch and pull super hard.  My wife couldn't get it open at all a few times.  And of course sometimes it opened as easy as can be.  It wasn't locked either, though I'm often known for dumb things like that!

I am having the exact same issue with my new 179. I think it must have been fitted in Winter and now with the heat the door has expanded and is sticking. All I can think of is to spray some silicon lube at various points. Let me know if you come up with something better.

We had the same issue with our 179. Finally loosened up after a month or so...

We had it happen when we were in Maine, a couple of blasts of WD-40 did the trick

I have had that issue twice on my new(last August) 179, the door opened and closed smoothly at the dealer. In my case I was too aggressive dropping the stabilizers and it tweaked the frame just enough to cause the door to stick. It just happened again this past weekend but I remembered, raised the stabilizers back up, then back down appropriately and problem solved. Give it a try, may work.

It happened to me once. What I found my rear stabilizer was barely touching the ground. I guess it allowed the Pod to sad ever so slightly at that corner. Run the stabilizer down and all problems fixed. I make it a point to go around and check all 4 stabilizers a second time.

Also check to make sure the screen door hinge screws are all the way in. Our 179 was almost impossible to latch from the inside before I ran those screw in the rest of the way.
