The Mudstar that came on my 2013 178 HRE
were 235/75r 15 they were LT tires not ST and
were rated one of worst tire ever.
I replaced them with Goodyear Endurance ST 225/75r 15
These are E rated

The "Mudstar" are what's on mine now - need to get them off the trailer before the trip.
Thanks for the input.

New shoes tomorrow!  I went with the Goodyear Endurance.  I made the mistake of asking the guy at the tire shop to take a quick look at my tires on the Truck (tow vehicle)... I'm embarrassed to say the build date on those tires was 2005!  Almost as old as the truck!  The tread was still great, but the date...  So - truck gets new shoes also...  If anyone is interested Cooper tires on the truck.
Thanks for the input everyone sent.

We have Cooper Discoverer AT on our Tundra. Very happy with them!

Cooper tires are good tires, I have used them for a number of years on a variety of vehicles. Not a Goodyear fan here.

Does anyone have any comments about the Greenball ST205/75R14LRC tires that Costco sells for $58.99.

The few reviews I've seen not on this site suggested they are decent.

Speaking of tires...you know that problem from tires sitting for awhile, called "browning"? How do you clean that?

light scrubbing with whatever you wash the pod with, then spray with tire shine of choice.

Got the same issue on my 179 and my truck. The "tire shine" only stays for a little while. I have never had this condition on any other set of tires I've had. Usually they just turn dull black and not the ugly tan/brown. Washed and "shined" many times and they still turn brown.
