Have replaced one on my 178.  Do not use LP and it is turned off at the tank.  My second detector goes off intermittently now .  Was thinking of just buying a CO2 home type detector and unhooking the existing detector.  According to the RPOD tech guy, these detectors have been a problem.

Could be a low battery warning. The battery will drain from parasitic drain on it. We will disconnect ours when not in use.
Or we have had a bad detector once when we first got our 179.

My CO/LP detector is alarming while my camper is in storage.  Any idea why?  The LP is turned off as well as everything else.   Thanks in advance.
