I am the proud new owner of a 2017 R-Pod 179. My husband and I spent many happy years dragging a 32 foot travel trailer around the country. He used a wheelchair and the gigantic trailer was a necessity. Sadly he passed away a few months ago and I have moved UP to an R-Pod and new adventures. While I was always very involved in the on-the-road process I had never done any of the driving. But I have now! I did a solo week in a small nearby park just to test the waters. Success. Just came back from 3 weeks of family camping and a music festival. I am LOVING the R-Pod. It has everything I need and gathers curious folk wherever I go. Yes, life is different. Life is not easy. Life is not perfect. But it is still good and the R-Pod helps. For those interested, I did 5 days without electricity with an 80 watt Zamp - with LOTs of rain and cloudy days and ended the five days with the battery still indicating full. Yes, I was conservative but it worked. Hope to share more new adventures.
