I don't have photos because my Pod is at a remote storage at the moment, but Couch's installed the Furion rear observation camera on mine. It is mounted directly on the spoiler and assume it is tapping off the running lights that are in the spoiler. It works great but I think the angle is too wide and "Objects are Definitely CLOSER than they APPEAR". The screen is kind of small too. But overall it worked flawlessly and did its job.

Here is a picture of mine. I unsrewed the bottom middle part of the spoiler and lifted it just enough to access the wires to the lights. Drilled one hole for the wire and then using short screws mounted the camera to the spoiler. Was only a 15 minute job.

Very helpful thanks! Do you remember how you identified which wires to use?

I think there are only two wires under the spoiler: power and ground.

But I have a question about the wireless. Does this talk WiFi to your smart phone, or is there a special wireless display unit?

I have mine mounted on the license plate bracket and I power it with the license plate light.  No holes to drill. The monitor is powered by the power port in the console and suction cup mounted to the corner of the windshield.  It's wireless and works great.

Yes, there is only power and ground for the lights in the spoiler. And mine came with a wireless head unit that plugs into the 12 volt power plug.when I turn on the lights the head unit Powers up with a picture.there are a few pictures in my slopoodmods link below.

+1  crw8sr on using the license plate bracket back up camera. Do you have a link to the brand you used or any recommendation of manufacture?

DavMar - the back up camera I have is Peak 4.3 wireless.  Picked it out of a clearance bin at Menard's last spring.  It just happens to be on sale at Menard's this week, 69.99 after $20 rebate.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eyes open for one since it would be nice addition to making the Pod easier to back up.

DavMar, since it's wired to the license plate light it's on all the time that the lights are on.  I like seeing what's going on back there.
