I lowered the tv and like it better. It's more comfortable to watch at eye level. There is a cut out in the wall behind the tv for shower fawcet access. that allowed me to see behind, they had a piece of wood I was able to screw into.

I lowered the tv to eye level. much better. there was a cut out for access to the shower faucetts was behind the tv which allowed me to see behind the wall. They had placed a block of wood where the screws were, and lowering it about a foot still allowed me to screw into the wood. The walls are thin wood laminated to the exterior texture.

We lowered ours as well. We are in a 179. We wanted the T.V. lowered past the original wood support that forest river installed. So we just attached a piece of painted plywood to the original support and then attached the bracket to the plywood.  |
